Dealing with M.S. and feeling stronger

“I started doing cardio 5 weeks ago when my gym got a hand cycle. I think the blood flow is doing great things, but the credit goes to LV. It’s been 13yrs since I’ve done any cardio and I attacked this the first week like I’d been training for a year. It’s the LV. I keep telling people that I’m getting better but you just can’t see it in my walking. I’m still dragging my legs but they are stronger and less stiff.  I’m working on balance and trunk strength. I am still in the wheelchair but for me to be able to stand like that without holding on is HUGE!”  ~Rebekah, diagnosis MS, Colorado
